At Page 1 Solutions, we believe that doing a great job means giving back to the world. We put our talents as a full service web marketing firm to use to help numerous charities and organizations both locally and globally. Here are just some of the ways that Page 1 Solutions provides services to those in need:
The Action Center
The Action Center’s mission is to provide an immediate response to basic human needs and promote pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless. The Action Center's goal is to give clients a continuum of services to meet their current needs and the means to become self-sufficient.
The Action Center has become a long-term recipient of Page 1 Solutions' fund-raising events. Our annual holiday and open-house parties are used to raise funds for this well deserving organization. We average 15 car/truck loads of donations per year as well as collect more than 1200 pounds of food each year. Our staff also volunteer at Action Center events, such as their annual school supply distribution for children in need.
Second Wind Fund
The Second Wind Fund is a local teen suicide prevention organization. The organization was founded in 2002 by Scott Fletcher, Jeff Lamontagne, and Dr. Marjorie Laird after Green Mountain High School lost four students to suicide in only nine months. This loss greatly affected not only the founders, but the entire community.
The goal of the Second Wind Fund is to reduce the numbers of teen suicides by providing treatment for at-risk youth, no matter their social or financial barriers. Several of our staff have represented Page 1 at their annual fundraising races. A portion of our holiday party fund raising has gone to this worthy cause, as well as additional contributions from individual team members.
Page 1 Green Solutions
As part of a continuing effort to give back to our community, Page 1 has created Green Solutions, a program to outline the company’s ongoing dedication to our planet and to lowering our carbon footprint. We have joined the Arbor Day Foundation's Trees for America Program, which plants trees in fire-damaged forest to help restore the beauty of the landscape, support the local habitat, and offset carbon output. So far we have planted 4,430 trees for reforestation, and saved more than 527,750 sq. ft. of rain forest!
Adopt a Highway
Adopt a Highway gives groups an opportunity to remove litter from a section of highway in their community with the option of putting their name and logo on an Adopt a Highway sign. Typically groups pick up trash on a two-mile stretch of highway, four times a year. It's a great way for companies and organizations to beautify Colorado and contribute to the community.
Page 1 employees don orange vests and pick up litter along a two-mile section of highway near our business. We are committed to doing our part to keep Colorado a great place to live by removing litter from our street.
