Andrew Martin

Senior Writer

Andrew is the Senior Writer at Page 1 Solutions. In addition to crafting and implementing content strategies for Page 1 clients, Andrew works with Director of Operations Sara Desmond to shape the short- and long-term direction of the writing department.

A native New Yorker, Andrew moved out to Colorado after receiving his BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. After enjoying several years as a ski bum in Vail, he relocated to Boulder and completed his Master's in Secondary English Education at the University of Colorado. He spent a short stint teaching middle school English before changing career paths and embarking on a copy writing career. In addition to his work at Page 1, Andrew has also cultivated a freelance copy writing business, writing content for a diverse group of clients including a liquor inventory service provider, a call tracking company, an asphalt product manufacturer, and an Internet security provider. He also reviews live music across the Front Range for the Marquee Magazine and covers the Telluride Bluegrass Festival every summer.

In his free time, Andrew is a busy musician. He plays in numerous projects in the Boulder and Denver area, including the funk/fusion band Jababa, a Bob Marley tribute band callled Wake Up and Live, and a gypsy jazz band called Moonlight Breakdown. He's currently working to get two other start-up projects going -- a singer/songwriter project and a jazz fusion project. Both of these bands are axiously awaiting names, although this minor hiccup hasn't prevented the singer/songwriter project from performing as an acoustic duo in Boulder from time to time.
