Web Design Digest: Plastic Surgery – January 2016

For Lawyers, Doctors, and Dentists

The first month of the new year saw the completion of three new designs for our clients in the plastic surgery vertical. Each of these sites combines a distinct look reflecting the unique personality of the practice with responsive functionality that makes the site accessible for users on desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

We are proud to announce the launch of the following revitalized websites, and thank the clients for their feedback and collaboration throughout the redesign process!

Julio Garcia MD, FACS

The website for Dr. Garcia’s Las Vegas plastic surgery office embodies the youth and vibrancy his patients strive to attain. The light, airy look of the site reflects Dr. Garcia’s artistic eye, while the Before & After Gallery demonstrates past results for procedures including breast augmentation, liposuction, facelift surgery, and more.

Dr. Garcia knows that patient education is a crucial prerequisite for plastic surgery patients to discover the ideal combination of art and science to look their best. The new website combines comprehensive custom content with intuitive navigation – including menus, graphic calls-to-action (CTAs), and video – to help visitors find the information they need. There is even an Ask Dr. Garcia section featured prominently in the menu that provides easy access to a library of answers to over 700 user-submitted questions related to plastic surgery topics.

Blair Plastic Surgery

Dr. Robert Louton and Dr. Fanny Louton bring the most advanced plastic surgery procedures and skin care treatments to patients in Central Pennsylvania. Likewise, their redesigned website uses a modern aesthetic and responsive format to engage tech-savvy visitors.

The gallery, for example, models the function of a mobile phone by keeping procedure pictures in an accordion-style menu that allows visitors to pick and choose the before-and-after images they want to see and easily move from one category of treatments to another. Procedure landing pages also integrate before-and-after photos, allowing users to learn about surgeries and skin care while seeing real-life examples just to the right of the text.

The prominent CTAs on the home page (which discreetly hide extensive menus beneath their eye-catching images and brief descriptors) provide a memorable means of navigation. Pages throughout the site harness custom content, high-quality images, and video to educate prospective patients seeking information on a particular procedure.

Serving Altoona, State College, Johnstown, and DuBois, Pennsylvania, the redesigned website for Blair Plastic Surgery can be found online at http://www.blairplasticsurgery.com/.

New Image Plastic Surgery Associates

As the rotating banner on the home page states, Dr. Roberta Gartside has been voted one of the top doctors in Virginia. She continues this winning spirit with the redesign of her practice website.

The banner alternates between bright white and enticing black, framed by regal purple. This color scheme communicates the comfortable, authoritative standard of care Dr. Gartside maintains for her patients, while the presence of high-quality photography reinforces her commitment to exceptional results.

The emphasis on striking imagery starts with the home page banner and CTAs and continues throughout the site. On interior pages, visitors can not only read comments about Dr. Gartside’s work via a scrolling testimonials module but see actual results with a single click to the gallery. Images in the gallery show patients before and after receiving treatment, and are often augmented by a brief description of the patient’s age, goals, and other key details.

With offices in both Reston and McLean, New Image Plastic Surgery Associates serves patients in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Visit the redesigned website at http://www.gartside.com/.
