Walkers and runners took to Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado, on a crisp autumn day this month to participate in the 15th Anniversary Second Wind Walk/Run. We are proud to say that several employees and their loved ones were among the participants at this year's event!

Held Saturday, Oct. 8, the Second Wind Walk/Run is the signature annual event hosted by the Second Wind Fund. This local organization – based in Colorado's Jefferson County – seeks to raise awareness of child and teen suicide and connect at-risk kids with therapists and other mental health services. Donations from the community make it possible for the Second Wind Fund to remove financial barriers for a young person to receive counseling, with the program paying for up to 12 sessions with a therapist.

Second Wind Fund in Jefferson County, ColoradoThe Second Wind Fund raised an astonishing $107,000 at this year's Walk/Run! Page 1 Solutions is a longtime supporter of the Second Wind Fund, which started in 2002 as a response to the tragic suicides of several teens at a Jefferson County high school in less than a year. Our team members have been walking, running, and donating to this worthy cause for over 10 years!

We admire the life-saving services that the Second Wind Fund has made possible for more than 4,200 kids and teenagers throughout Colorado. Read more about the Second Wind Fund and other organizations that Page 1 Solutions supports by visiting our Community Involvement page.
