Mobile Local Searches Will Exceed Desktop Local Searches

Although many practices are starting to develop a mobile compatible version of their website, the vast majority of websites still are not smartphone-friendly.  If your practice needs a little nudge to make what is a very small investment of time and money, the following study may get you started.

The study projects 1) a 600% increase in mobile searches over the next five years, and 2) the number of mobile searches will surpass desktop searches by 2015.

A recent study conducted by research and consulting firm BIA/Kelsey indicates that over the next three years, local search marketing will be dominated by the growth of mobile search and flat growth for desktop.
