Hastings, Cohan & Walsh, LLP
Earlier this week, our president, Dan Goldstein, visited with one of our clients in Connecticut - Hastings, Cohan & Walsh, LLP. Dan spent most of the day meeting with Richard Hastings. He also met with firm partner Patrick Walsh and several other members of the staff.
Dan was impressed by the firm's commitment to young people in the community. For the last eight years, the firm has hired summer interns from local high schools as well as college students. Dan met with three of the interns during his visit.
The firm's main office is in Ridgefield Connecticut. It also has offices in Georgetown, Danbury, Stamford, Newtown, New Fairfield, East Haven, Bloomfield, Hamden and Bridgeport. In addition to its main website, the firm is working with a Page 1 subsidiary on a secondary website for its Bridgeport office - http://bridgeportaccident.attorney.us/.
Richard Hastings has invested a lot of energy in writing and publishing several books for both consumers and other attorneys. One of his books - The Crash Course on Personal Injury Claims also includes a workbook. In another book - Wolf in Sheep's Clothing - {What Your Insurance Company Doesn't Want You to Know and Won't Tell You Until It's Too Late!}, Richard is one of several authors including two other friends of Page 1 - Tony Castelli and Karl Truman.
Dan's conversation with Richard Hastings focused on website marketing strategies with a particular emphasis on content development and video. Because Richard is such a prolific author, Dan encouraged him to invest his efforts in writing blog posts to answer questions that his clients and other consumers face when dealing with personal injury or medical medical malpractice claims. The key to success with blog writing is to ensure that the information is interesting and useful to consumers. Obviously, it has to be unique.
In addition, Dan encouraged Richard to continue to develop videos. The firm already has developed a number of videos including Sh*t Injury Lawyers Say. As with blog posts, the key is to keep it interesting and useful to consumers.
Dan really enjoyed his visit and looks forward to helping the firm continue to expand its web presence.
