The first and most vital aspect to what your website will look like and contain comes from the design call. A design call is used to discuss particular specifications about your website. As a designer, it is important to know what kind of site you would like. It also determines what kind of items are needed to build the site. More often than not, projects are delayed due to missing or improper materials. During a design call, the Designer and Account Manager ask specific questions about other websites that were selected in which you may like or may not like. This is to help explore your opinion and highlight the strengths of your practice.
Items that are obtained to create a website are used to help brand who you are and what you do. It also brings emotional impact and determines your goals on what you want your potential patients/clients to do next. Items that are discussed during a design call are used to create the image of the practice by creating new materials and incorporating existing ones.
