Vanity URLs Coming This Weekend
Facebook is launching Vanity URLs this Saturday, June 13th. Vanity URLs will enable our clients to personalize their Facebook link, making it easier to share to others and to publicize.
This could be important for search engine optimization purposes. When a person searches for a name on Google, it's likely the Vanity URL Facebook page will be in the top results.
