Gaining Momentum – Part 2
In Gaining Momentum – Part 1, we established that working together brings great success. Building momentum across the company, while still focusing on details for our clients can sometimes be a challenge. Adding pages, e-PRs, and paid directories on a monthly schedule builds a network of momentum around your site and improves the visibility and return of investment of your site.
Although the above tools are effective when used alone, these services when combined and spread out over the course of time build momentum that results in exponential growth on search engines. Search engines rank websites that have a consistent flow of additions as having a higher value, and thus higher rank on the first page. Search engines seek to provide their users with websites they perceive to be the most up to date and thorough. The best way to achieve this is to produce a series of additions that build one on top of the other and to create a network of information that surrounds your site with links from other resources. Therefore, search engines view sites with the greatest momentum as those that provide the best value for their users. By converting momentum into results, both our clients and our company come out as winners.

Gaining Momentum - Part 1
In light of the recent success by the Colorado Rockies, we here at Page 1 have not only enjoyed our baseball team’s success but have used their recent run as a reminder to how important momentum can be. Winning 21 of 22 games is a feat, especially considering the last seven straight have come in the playoffs. Those not familiar with the Colorado Rockies sometimes assume the success has come from only a handful of players when in reality there has been a different unexpected hero almost every night. This team has collectively proven its success relies on its strength as a unit and not one individual as present in their MLB record-breaking defense.
So how does this all relate back to Page 1 and search engine optimization?
At Page 1 we have shifted our energy and focus to building our own momentum. By recognizing that each and every member of our company brings certain strengths to our team, each department has developed monthly goals and objectives that directly correlate with the goals of our clients and our company. Success with our clients can only begin at Page 1, and must continue on behalf of our entire lineup of clientele. Our clients are the true role players on our team, always willing to provide what’s needed no matter the size of the project at hand. Although difficult and challenging tasks will always confront us, we as a team must rely on one another for determination, commitment and leadership to overcome obstacles in our path.
How are results accomplished? Learn more in Gaining Momentum – Part 2.

Saying No to the Client
We have all encountered situations when we have had to tell
a valuable customer no to a request. This happens not
because we do not want to accommodate the customer,
but rather because their request is not in their best interest.
When a customer hires a professional they are paying for the
expertise that person has to offer, not simply to follow their instructions.
How does a professional deal with this in a way that does not
alienate the client? Communication! Every doctor, or lawyer
has had to explain to a client at one time or another how their
choice just doesn’t work for them. Here at Page1Solutions we
have to do the same thing. While we obviously want to please
our clients we would be failing in our duty if we let a client make
changes to their website that would be detrimental. Just as each
of our clients is an expert in their chosen field, so is our company.
Web design, and web marketing are totally different than other
forms of media, or advertising. A website’s traffic can drop
dramatically from simply moving a form. A site that is difficult
to navigate can cost you those important leads you are looking to
convert into clients. The user is on your site because they are
looking for information. It is our job to help them find it easily,
and quickly. Then we have to add those important calls to action
so they will feel compelled to call your office, or to fill out a contact form.
All of our clients understand the fine line in serving the client to
simply make them happy, and supplying superior service that
will truly benefit them. I am proud to say at Page1Soloutions
our goal is to provide superior service.
